The purpose of this blog

What enormous amounts of good tips and insightful comments I have just wasted by sitting on my ass instead of blogging about it. From now on I am going to braindump here, if it is about computers but boring. That is in contrast with programming which in general is fun and interesting. Messing with hardware and software isn't very often.

That is why I hope this blog can be both a way to save information that someone else searching for a problem might have a need for, but also a therapeutic tool for me. I don't like banging my head against the computer screen. Not anymore. Headbanging is not for oldies.
